Sneakers, The Classics: The Most Iconic Sneaker Models

Immerse yourself in the world of sneakers with Sneakers, The Classics, an essential coffee table book for sneaker enthusiasts, collectors, designers, and dreamers. Authored by Maria Luisa Miraldi, director of the Tribeca Design Studio, this beautifully illustrated book showcases the most iconic sneaker models, merging fashion, sports, culture, and history in a unique way.

Why This Book is Essential

Each sneaker model is accompanied by stunning photographs, detailed historical backgrounds, technical specifications, and inspiring mood boards that highlight the cultural and stylistic significance of each shoe. From the legendary Adidas Superstars of 1969 and the New Balance 990s from 1982 to the striking Off White Air Force 1s from 2017, this coffee table book offers a fascinating look at the most coveted sneakers.

Originally designed as athletic shoes, sneakers have accompanied countless historic sports moments. From tennis and basketball to skateboarding, and from the Olympic Games to the streets of global cities, sneakers have made the impossible possible. For post-war youth activists, sneakers symbolized freedom and independence, and their bold designs continue to represent individuality and freedom today.

This book is a must-have for sneaker fans, collectors, designers, and dreamers.
