Hans-Georg Esch, born in Neuwied in 1964, completed a classical photography training. He has been working as a freelance architectural photographer for national and international architectural firms since 1989 and is now one of the most renowned representatives of his field. In addition to commissioned work, there is an independent oeuvre of free artistic work in which Esch opens a view of the entire city. The series such as "Megacities", "City and Structure" or "Cities Unknown", which deal with the current boom of Western and especially Asian cities, became known. His 360° installations depicting panoramas of the city are exhibited all over the world. In 2011, he began to devote himself to the medium of film in order to expand his artistic work in the field of architecture. Esch lives and works in Hennef / Blankenberg.
