Instructions for Descaling Your Sjöstrand Coffee Machine

Follow these simple steps to descale your machine thoroughly and safely:

Prepare the Solution:

• Dissolve one descaling tablet in 500 ml warm water (not boiling) and stir until fully dissolved.
• Pour the solution into the water reservoir and top up with cold water until the reservoir is full.

Start the Descaling Procedure:

• Press and hold both buttons on the machine simultaneously for 3 seconds until they start flashing.
• Press any button to start the procedure.

Allow the Solution to Flow Through the Machine:

• Let the entire contents of the water reservoir run through the machine. This completes the descaling procedure.

Rinse the Machine:

• Fill the water reservoir with clean water and let at least half a tank (minimum 500 ml) flow through the machine.
• Start the descaling procedure again and stop the process by pressing a button once the rinsing is completed.

Check the Rinse Water:

• The rinsing process is complete when the water coming out of the nozzle is clear and no longer foamy.
• Turn off the machine or press a button to finish the procedure.

Tips: Repeat this process regularly to keep your coffee machine in optimal condition and ensure the best taste for your coffee.
